Tobacco-Free Campus

Franklin General Hospital is a tobacco-free campus. This means that colleagues, patients and visitors are prohibited from smoking, vaping or using any tobacco products on FGH property, including buildings, grounds, parking areas and sidewalks.

If you are interested in obtaining support to stop using tobacco, call Quitline Iowa (a toll-free smoking cessation counseling hotline) at 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669) or visit their website at www.quitlineiowa.org.

Patients who smoke or use tobacco products are encouraged to talk with their physician about nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). NRT may help curb cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
