Visit The Lobby Shoppe, re-energized with lots of new merchandise constantly arriving.
When you are looking for just the right gift at a reasonable price,
don’t forget to stop and take a look around the The Lobby
Shoppe , across from the reception area of the hospital. On hand,
you’ll find a wide range of merchandise, including lovely
stuffed animals, jewelry, and candles, along with many handmade
items like rugs, afghans, double hand towels to hang on your refrigerator,
embroidered dish towels and much more.
Volunteers who work in the shop say they sell many greeting cards, not only to employees and visitors to the hospital, but also to other citizens who drive out specifically for them because they are attractive, very reasonably priced, and also help a good cause.
The Gift Shop is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, and from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. It is staffed by volunteer members of the Auxiliary.
Proceeds from the Gift Shop make up a good share of more than $80,000 that the Auxiliary has donated in recent years for projects like new furniture in the dining room, waiting rooms, Hospice room, as well as television sets, and copy machines for the office.
Certainly, FGH is appreciative of the work the Auxiliary members do in the The Lobby Shoppe – and of all the ways they help.
