This program is available free to area families as a voluntary service, thanks to funding from Community Health of Kossuth Regional Health Center, Early Childhood North Central Iowa Empowerment and the Iowa Department of Public Health.
The mission of Kossuth Growing Healthy Kids is to promote and enhance the healthy development of children and families in Kossuth County. Research has demonstrated that home visitation programs are successful in addressing a host of family issues such as health, development, school readiness, nurturing families and safe and secure communities. This program does not discriminate.
