Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program

Iowa Care for Yourself Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (BCCEDP)

This program is available for eligible women ages 40 to 64 years of age who are uninsured or under insured. Women who enroll in the BCCEDP program will receive the following screening services at no cost:

Office visit with woman's own health care provider, including a breast exam, Pap smear, pelvic exam and mammogram.

In addition to these screenings, women enrolled in this program will also receive the following screening services at no cost:

  • Height, weight, blood pressure and Body Mass Index
  • Referral to Iowa Quitline for all smokers
