In a critical situation, every second counts. At Franklin General Hospital Emergency/Ambulance Services, you'll receive highly specialized emergency care quickly, compassionately and during the hours you need it. Emergency care has been provided by FGH since 1915. Since that day, the doors have remained open 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week, 365 days-a-year for nearly 96 years.
Each year, FGH Emergency Services cares patients ranging from critical cardiac events to minor injuries and sicknesses. FGH emergency staff consists of physicians/ physician assistants, EMT, paramedics and nurses who are specially trained for emergency and trauma care and hold certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

24-hour support by ancillary services including: Radiology, Respiratory Care, Laboratory, and Pharmacy. Franklin General Hospital's Emergency Services has the resources to provide initial stabilization for all trauma patients while preparing the patient for transfer, if needed
